Medical Thermography is the technology of capturing an image of thermal energy emitted from the human body. The equipment used to produce these color images makes thousands of detailed temperature measurements of the skin surface. These termperature readings are presented in a spectrum of colours on a video screen that indicate increased or decreased thermal energy. Medically speaking, the slight increase or decrease from normal body temperature from left side to right side that is detected at the skin surface, could indicate that a specific problem may exist such as cancer, or soft tissue injury.
